Grand Theft Auto VI
Who is Valentina?
Valentina is a client of Mr. Faber and has connections to Andrés and people involved with Megamundo in GTA 6. In An Extended Look, she explains the job to Jason and Lucia and introduces them to the man they will protect, as well as other people at the event.
She and Andrés are pleased to see each other after some time apart. She seems familiar with his personality, asking Jason and Lucia to keep him happy and keep an eye on his behavior while protecting him. She brings the two protagonists and their client together, helping organize the job so everything runs smoothly.
Her first appearance in GTA Online: Money Fronts
Valentina first appeared in GTA Online’s Money Fronts update, released on June 17, 2025. During the player’s first meeting with Mr. Faber, she arrives at Los Santos International Airport aboard the same private jet and is briefly seen stepping off the plane.
Her appearance is brief, and the scene does not introduce her by name or explain her background. In GTA 6’s extended preview, she takes a more active role, talking to Jason and Lucia and explaining their bodyguard assignment.
Her role in GTA 6 and the job protecting Andrés
Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look shows Valentina arranging for Jason and Lucia to protect Andrés. Their assignment is to keep him safe while also keeping him in line. She asks them to boost his confidence and make him feel good about himself. Jason sums up the request as babysitting.
Valentina then introduces them to Andrés when he arrives. The group heads to a party celebrating the opening of Megamundo’s U.S. headquarters. At the venue, she also introduces Jason and Lucia as Andrés’s new bodyguards to Petra Navarro, Megamundo’s COO (Chief Operating Officer).
The glamorous party takes a violent turn when armed assailants storm the venue. Andrés is captured, and Jason and Lucia must act to protect him. The job they accepted from Valentina draws them into the unfolding crisis.
Why she is called Tina and Val
Andrés calls Valentina Tina, a name also shown as “ティーナ” in the Japanese subtitles. Lucia calls her Val when asking about the job. Both are shortened forms of Valentina and refer to the same character.
